Battery life and standby mode

The Ztove cookware uses a CR2032 lithium-ion battery. This gives an estimated 1-2 years of use with 1 hour of daily use from a single battery.

The cookware has no mechanical on/off-button. Instead the Ztove cookware uses a movement sensor to wake up the cookware from sleep-mode. When the cookware does not detect any movements it goes into a low power sleep-mode to minimize the current draw.
